The external detecting of solar PV modules circuit:
Some of engineers use the turn-key solar cell test equipment, such as devices using a solar simulator, which is a standardized light source, can be used to control the light energy into the solar cell. However, if a very large solar or modules, solar simulator will be unable to produce adequate light.   For example: measured solar module may be is a part of the solar collection system in the outdoor. In this case, the test will be the sun itself the only practical light source available. Since, in the outdoors is virtually impossible to transport without a turn-key solar simulator test system, so this test will need to use the improvements made by the standard test equipment solutions for some other tests to perform.   Another concern in outdoor is “temperature”. Because the battery performance will be affected by temperature, therefore, needs to monitor temperature in the test, the battery performance is not only dependent on the temperature, and the test device's performance also depends on temperature.Most of equipment suppliers and their equipment did not indicate at room temperature in a very narrow temperature range (ex: +25 ℃ ± 5 ℃) than the performance of other vendors will provide a temperature coefficient specifications, able to adjust the test equipment accuracy range to target operating at its specified operating temperature range to be corrected.For higher power test load   For high power applications, the standard electronic load for testing solar cells, many engineers do not think of using electronic load to test solar cells, because they are accustomed to using a turn-key system or four-quadrant power supply.   Considering the solar cell will generate energy when using a four-quadrant power supply to test it, the power of the actual operating modes are: the power supply terminals of the solar cell by applying a positive voltage, while the current flows from the solar cell of the four-quadrant power supply terminal, this means that the four-quadrant power supply reverse current (in terms of its terminals). Electronic load in constant voltage mode is also known as CV mode. Thus, CV mode can be used to create a voltage sweep, with the load to control the output voltage of the solar cell, and then measuring the resulting current.
