Deformation & Durability
What is mattress deformation and what mattress durability?
The data obtained from the mattress durability tester are visually presented, as illustrated below:

The sample was subject to the Hexagonal roller testing using ASTM F 1566-09 part 7 as a procedural guide. Load deflection and height measurements were obtained using ASTM f1566-09 part 6A as a procedural guide. NOTE: measurement conducted on a fully upholstered mattress.
Height measurements were gauged by applying a 1 pound contact force to the mattress surface with the prescribed platen.the mattress was allowed to recover for 1 hour prior to load deflection and heigt measurements.
